Upcoming Changes The Finder Application and Web Services for Sales Tax
We are currently rewriting The Finder application and as part of this project, we will be updating the user interface and introducing a new REST-based Finder Web Service.
Upgraded user interface highlights

  • Improved location accuracy
  • Faster file upload results
  • Intuitive navigation
REST-based service highlights
The new service will allow integrated lookups for:
  • Sales tax rates
  • School district income tax rates
  • Municipal income tax rates
For those using the current SOAP web service, it will still be available for a period of time to give you time to transition. Over time, we plan to retire the SOAP service after users have moved to the new REST service.
We will share more information soon, including timelines and how to use the new service. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth and easy as possible.
